Golfing at the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club is an incredible experience – combined with its Northern hospitality, Royal Lytham leads the way.
First played in 1926 Royal Lytham has hosted The Open Championship on 11 occasions, most recently in 2012 when Ernie Els claimed his 2nd Open title.
With 174 bunkers Royal Lytham & St Anne’s is a difficult course to scramble on. Although not the longest of courses it is one where careful thought and accuracy are essential. It is not a conventionally beautiful course as it is surrounded by suburban housing and flanked by a railway line but it has a charm of its own.

Considered one of the most premier links courses in the world, Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club has hosted eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and a number of other major golf tournaments including the Women’s and Seniors Open Championships and the Walker Cup in 2015.
