Hillside is a links that never settles. Carved through some of the most dramatic dunes in England, it rises, falls and twists from the opening tee, demanding full commitment on every shot.
The terrain dictates strategy. Uneven lies are constant, blind shots are frequent, and elevated greens place a premium on clean contact and precise distance control. Fairways are narrower than they appear, and bunkers are deep and exactingly placed.
The back nine is particularly strong, climbing higher into the dunes where exposure increases and decisions become more demanding. Shot-shaping is essential. Indecision is punished quickly.
Hillside is not forgiving, but it is deeply rewarding. A course that tests both nerve and technique from start to finish.
