Playing the Course
Fairmont, St Andrews, situated at the ‘Home of Golf’, was voted 18th in “The World’s Top Golf Resorts” by Conde Nast Traveler and has also been recognised several times at The Golf Tourism Scotland Awards in recent years.
One of two superb and challenging golf courses, The Kittocks, designed by Bruce Devlin, opened in 2002 and has a stunning cliff top view across the beautiful Fife coastline.
The Kittocks is a long and challenging course requiring nerves of steel to navigate its many holes running along the sea.
It’s famously played host to Europro Tournament 2007 and 2009 and Scottish Youths National Championship 2016.
Fairmont, Kittocks Course, St Andrews
The Kittocks was inspired by the vision of Sam Torrance, Bruce Devlin and the legendary Gene Sarazan.
The links winds it’s way through 520 acres of stunning St Andrews scenery, overlooking the medieval town. Its dramatic views and undulating terrain can be played from four sets of tees, and the famous Fife coastal wind accompanies you every step of the way.
All this makes The Kittocks the ideal golfing experience for players of every ability.
