In the heart of Vilamoura lies the Grande Dame of Algarve courses, The Old Course Golf Club. As one of the first-established layouts in the region, the Frank Pennink-design is well regarded throughout the golfing world.

Monte Rei is truly unique in its design; water comes into play on 11 of the 18 holes and golfers can enjoy a series of eight par-4’s, five par-3’s and five par-5’s in this distinctive layout.

The South Course of Quinta do Lago is considered its crown jewel. Originally designed in 1974 by William Mitchell, who introduced American-standard greens, tees and bunkers to the Algarve, the course has a reputation and is a flagship in Europe. 

The North Course at Quinta do Lago was completely redesigned in 2014 by architect, Beau Welling, in partnership with former European Ryder Cup captain, Paul McGinley.

Opened in 1998, San Lorenzo Golf Course boasts amazing topography on the Quinta do Lago estate, situated between a gorgeous pine woodland.
