Hillside Golf Club is situated in Southport, 'England's Golfing Coast'. The course forms part of England's finest stretch of coastal links being adjacent to Royal Birkdale and Southport & Ainsdale with Formby Golf Course a few miles down the road.

Royal Birkdale, one of the world's finest links golf clubs, has been voted the No. 1 course in Britain and is regarded among the best layouts in the world.

Built in 1896, on what was then the racecourse of the Liverpool Hunt Club, Hoylake is the oldest of all the English seaside courses with the exception of Westward Hall in Devon. Robert Chambers and George Morris were commissioned to lay out the original Hoylake Course, which was extended to 18 holes in 1871. This was also the year in which the club was granted its Royal designation thanks to the patronage of His Royal Highness The Duke of Connaught.

The Formby Golf Club is a true championship links course. The course was founded in 1884 and runs through mature sand dunes and pinewoods. The combination of well protected greens, undulating fairways and challenging tee shots signifies a course of magnificent contrasts unlike any other.

Considered one of the most premier links courses in the world, Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club has hosted eleven Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and a number of other major golf tournaments including the Women's and Seniors Open Championships and the Walker Cup in 2015.
