Playing the Course
The Real Club Valderrama is considered one of the best-known golf courses in Europe.
Situated in the Sotogrande resort, the course offers 18-holes alongside a 9-hole par 3 course.
Constructed in 1974, Valderrama was designed by leading American golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones, which was named “Las Aves” in 1981.
Real Club Valderrama
By 1999, the Real Club Valderrama was rated top of its list in mainland Europe by Golf World magazine. The course has even been referred to as the “Augusta of Europe.”
