Vaughan Lodge Hotel
Vaughan Lodge hotel was constructed in 2005 by local hoteliers Michael and Maria Vaughan. It’s an intimate 4 star modern boutique style town house hotel with a refined dining restaurant.
The Lodge is a low key high quality retreat complete with a superb 2 Rosette Refined Dining Restaurant and a lovely Cocktail Lounge. the atmosphere is informal but the service is professional and to the highest standard. The hotel has 30 spacious bedrooms and is situated on an elevated site which is a drive and a five iron from the first tee box at Lahinch Golf Club.

Early breakfast requests are always cheerfully accepted and there is always someone at hand 24/7 to assist with any service request. Breakfasts are cooked to order with a wide selection of choice.
Accommodation includes bedrooms that are spacious and comfortable with a “low key” unfussy décor. Each room has an original canvass print of a local scene shot by Michael Vaughan. Small details like reading lights , free broadband, strong showers, separate hair shower stick and some local touring suggestions are part of what brings people back to stay at Vaughan Lodge.
The lounge at Vaughan Lodge is comfortable with a very well stocked selection of Scotch Malts, Irish whiskey, Bourbons, Vodkas and Gins. The VL Restaurant at Vaughan Lodge Lahinch has a reputation for fine food and seafood, and provides the village’s premier Elegant Dining venue.
We’ve been awarded 2 Rosettes for exceptional cuisine from the Automobile Association of Ireland in May 2017. VL Restaurant was voted best place to dine by Ennis Chamber of Commerce in 2017 and we achieved Best Dining Experience at the Irish Hospitality Awards also in 2017.
The hotel is a short five minute stroll from the main street of Lahinch and there are lots of local bars and cafes and restaurants to choose. There are a number of gift stores and boutiques within the village also. Taxi services are available locally for any special touring trips or excursions. Shannon Airport is 45 minutes drive away.
