The Bushmills Inn
Set against the backdrop of the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, The Bushmills Inn is the perfect retreat for those who crave the unconventional, yet still expect exceptional service. The welcome is warm and the fire always lit.
Originally a Coaching Inn in the 1600s, this 4 star boutique Hotel is steeped in Irish history with a myriad of places to hide from the world. Step back to a time steeped in charm. From inglenook turf fires to hayloft snugs, there’s something to find behind every door.
The Bushmills Inn blends stunning architecture, beautiful grounds, unique rooms and modern facilities and has been lovingly restored to pay homage to its rich Irish history.
The Bushmills Inn has an interesting and varied history. Named in 2017 as IGTOA’s Boutique Golf Hotel of the Year for all Ireland and the AA Hotel of the Year for Northern Ireland, it has since been faithfully restored, extended and refurbished to an exceptionally high standard.
Each of the 41 individually designed guest rooms offers luxurious furnishings, whilst at the same time creating the quaint and atmospheric ambience of the Inn’s bygone days, and many have views extending over the River Bush and the area of outstanding natural beauty which surrounds the Causeway Coast.
Overlooking the Garden Courtyard, the award winning ‘Taste of Ulster’ Restaurant takes in the original 17th-century stables and wine cellar. Blending classical with modern Irish cuisine each dish is crafted from traditional roots with menus inspired by local produce. Following dinner guests can sample the world famous Bushmills whiskey from the Inn’s private cask, in the traditional Gas Bar where live Irish music can also be enjoyed.
Situated in an enviable location, a stone’s throw from the Old Bushmills Distillery, Royal Portrush Golf Club, the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle, the Inn offers all that you would expect from an internationally renowned four star hotel and more besides. From the moment you step inside you know that you are in a very special place, with peat fires roaring and nooks and crannies just waiting to be explored the Inn epitomises the true spirit of Ulster hospitality.
