Golf has been played over the links at Gullane for more than 350 years.
Gullane Golf Club is one of Scotland’s most prestigious member clubs, mixing the finest tradition with some of the most admired natural links land in the world.
Laid out over prime seaside land with dramatic coastal views, Gullane has four courses, all blessed with superb turf and a climate that allows golf to be played all year round.
With a long history of hosting international Championship events, Gullane offers a unique range of golfing experiences for members and visitors alike, combining a major role in the history of golf in Scotland, great golfing conditions, and a truly spectacular environment.
Gullane Golf Course
Course No. 1 is carved into the ancient links turf, pot bunkers, wispy grasses and smooth-running greens is a unique challenge for the serious golfer. The course was voted one of the Most Picturesque Golf Spots in 5th place in the World in a list that includes Augusta National and Pebble Beach.
Course No. 2 runs alongside No. 1 for the first seven holes, the course then sweeps down to a nature reserve next to Aberlady Bay before turning back towards home and the Visitors’ Clubhouse.
Course No. 3 enjoys some of the best views across Aberlady Bay to Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth beyond.
